Founder/Director of IT
Former farmer and owner, Dave Rubey, developed Dakota Micro cameras when a spinal injury prevented him from turning his neck to monitor his ag equipment. Together with his wife, Charissa, they saw a need for ruggedized cameras in the agriculture industry to improve safety and efficiency. The company was founded on the family farm in rural North Dakota. Twenty years later, Dave remains committed to his vision to fulfill the need for reliable and durable vision systems. Today, Dave’s expertise in developing commercial, rearview and surveillance camera solutions is in use by companies around the world. Dave continues to lead the research and development department at Dakota Micro.
