Stolen H9Q Monitors

In February 2024, a shipment of raw Dakota Micro 9” quad monitors (H9Q) were seized by Customs as a result of an import scam. Although we tried working with UPS to get our monitors released and sent to us, we were informed that the the monitors were destroyed. It appears that information was incorrect. The total amount of H9Q monitors that we did not receive was 322. In October 2024, it was discovered that an Amazon seller called ShayekDeals was selling at least some of this missing inventory. They are using our DM-H9 listing and show up as the cheapest seller.

We are in the early stages of investigating this problem and taking steps with Amazon to have it removed. We have no control of the stolen monitors so they may start showing up with other Amazon, Ebay, or other selling channels. With the information listed below, when talking with customers we should be able to quickly identify these monitors with those who might reach out to us. Unfortunately, there is not much we can do for customers who have purchased these monitors from Non-authorized dealers. We will do our best to provide technical assistance or avenues to purchase missing parts but we will not be able to accommodate warranty or replacements.

Below are images of some indications that the monitors are not sold through Dakota Micro, Inc.

1. The monitor will not show up in our current Dakota Micro packaging. It will be in a gray box.
