Trimble Agriculture recently announced that Trimble resellers will distribute the AgCam stainless and aluminum cameras for use as an accessory with the Trimble® AgGPS® FmXTM integrated display.
The FmX, which integrates with Trimble AgGPS® AutopilotTM as well as pull-behind implement guidance, land leveling and variable rate application products, supports up to four external video cameras, displaying camera images on a bright 12.1-inch touch screen.
“The durable AgCam is a perfect fit for Trimble customers who have a lot going on behind the tractor,” says Eli Kiedrowski, Autopilot product manager for Trimble. “AgCam can be mounted in hard-to-see areas on the implement to provide added assurance that field operations are going as they should. Examples might include making sure a scraper pan is filling properly, or seeing that planter seed tubes, spray nozzles, or spreaders are distributing crop inputs properly. A clear camera image appears right on the FmX screen for easy viewing.”
